Course of therapy
Therapeutic follow-up is a dynamic, active process that depends on a number of factors, such as the trust placed in the therapist, the frequency of sessions, the goals set in accordance with the patient's timeframe, etc...
.
First meeting, identifying issues and goals
Each individual who seeks help and each situation presented are, without any doubt, unique. It's important to note that no two therapeutic journeys are ever the same, and that's because of the diversity of issues and individual responses to interventions.
During our first meeting, I like to adopt a flexible approach. Each therapeutic pathway is unique, so we can work together in an adaptable way, according to your needs and progress. Each person is unique, and the therapeutic process must be adapted accordingly to guarantee personalised and effective support.
Continuity and follow-up
As your therapy unfolds, I work with you to explore your thoughts, emotions, behaviour patterns and thought patterns. You are encouraged to become aware of these elements, including those that may be unconscious. This awareness is often the starting point for making positive changes in your life.
The fundamental aim is to consolidate the changes, so that they last over time and become an integral part of your life. As progress is consolidated, it is possible that sessions will be spaced further apart. This is a sign of the patient's transition to greater autonomy and of the success of the therapy in maintaining the changes over the long term.
